 I am constantly asked about candle magic.  The biggest thing I am asked is typically about how the candle melted or lack of melting. Most recently a client, did a jar spell and indicated that " The candle didn't melt well, it wasn't nearly as drippy  ".   This particular client then left their cast circle to search for a candle to make the candle "drippy" and "melt well". Will this spell work for this client?  No.  This is because they had high expectations for the way they wanted the candle wax to "look" and to "melt". They wanted the candle wax to be "drippy".   I have had clients play with their wax because the candle was melting asymmetrically and they wanted it to melt  symmetrically.   One question most of my beginning witchcraft students ask me is what books are good to read when just starting this spiritual pathway. There are so many amazing books out there by many spiritually strong occult practitioners. This was a hard list to narrow down I could have easily done a top 100. However, I limited it to six books to help determine your pathway and two books that I highly recommend that every witch should have in their practice. The six books I recommend for those new to the path, I am recommending to help you pick your path.  When I started my first teacher recommended several Wiccan books. Religious Discrimination: why are people so hateful?

Throughout history, there has been Religious Discrimination.  What amazes me the most is that people in Christianity who follow Jesus seem to be the most hateful people in the world.   When I was in a Christian religion I was horrified and disgusted that they would teach to love one another. Literally when I was Christian this scripture was shoved down my throat weekly: “I give you a  new commandment : love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another” John 13:34   I will never understand why these religious zealots are so hateful.  Most of the time they are the ones treating women horribly (sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse). How the LGBTQIA community is treated, I can't even grasp the hate that is thrown that direction.  And. then we get into the Religious Discrimination.  If you don't fit in their perfect Christian cult they will be horrible to you.
